Where do we get the money to assist our citizens? The City of Covington receives federal funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). HUD provides Covington the opportunity to develop neighborhoods with decent housing and a suitable living environment as well as expand economic opportunities for income eligible families.
