The Catholic Charities housing program offers an array of services for those seeking stable housing, either to rent or to buy. Services include budget and credit repair counseling, home purchase preparation, landlord/tenant mediation, financial literacy education, foreclosure and loss mitigation counseling, foreclosure education and home repair and maintenance skill development.

Realizing the American Dream is the curriculum that teaches first-time homebuyers about every aspect of the home buying process.

The Realizing the American Dream Program consists of a one-day class or series of shorter classes. The class is designed to help potential home buyers learn about the mortgage loan process, how to find the right house, budget and credit, loan closing, foreclosure prevention, basic home maintenance and avoiding predatory lending.
